Construction Mechanics Technicians work primarily in industrial branches of the: equipment technology, steel and metal construction, mechanical engineering, vehicle manufacturing, as well as in branches of the building construction industry. They work independently and in teams and manufacture and assemble their products in workshops as well as on sites.
Metal Cutting/CNC Technicians work primarily in industrial branches of the: mechanical engineering, steel construction and light alloy construction, vehicle manufacturing and foundry industries. They work primarily indoors in factory buildings, machine shops and workshops of the metal trades, where they manufacture on conventional and computer numeric controlled.
Industrial Electronics Technicians install electrical components, equipment and systems in the field of electrical power supply, industrial plants, modern building equipment and automation technology. They maintain them regularly, extend and modernize and carry out repairs in case of faults and malfunctions. Furthermore, they install cable routing systems, power and communication lines as well as electrical equipment of machines with related automation systems.
Mechatronics has become a key to many different products and processes. Modern systems have reached a level of sophistication, which would have been hard to imagine using traditional methods. Mechatronics integrates the classical fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer engineering known as information technology.
